Kayse Free Trial Terms

Version 1.0 · Effective October 22, 2026

These terms supplement the Kayse Terms of Use for free trial accounts, including the Kayse Sign 90-day free trial.

1. What these terms cover

These Free Trial Terms apply to any Kayse account that Kayse makes available at no charge for a limited time, including the Kayse Sign 90-day free trial (the "Free Trial").

The Free Trial Terms supplement and form part of the Kayse Terms of Use (kayse.ai/terms-of-use) and the Kayse Privacy Policy (kayse.ai/privacy-policy), which are incorporated by reference. Except where the Free Trial Terms say otherwise, the Terms of Use apply in full to your use of the Free Trial.

If the Free Trial Terms and the Terms of Use conflict for a Free Trial account, the Free Trial Terms control. If the Free Trial Terms conflict with a signed agreement between Kayse and a paying customer, that agreement controls for that customer.

By creating a Free Trial account, clicking to accept, or using the Free Trial, you agree to the Free Trial Terms.

2. No charge, no contract, no commitment

The Free Trial is free for 90 days from the day you sign up. There is no fee, no contract term, no minimum commitment, no credit card, and no obligation to buy anything.

You may stop using the Free Trial at any time and may close your account at any time from inside the Services, with no notice to Kayse and no waiting period. Section 8.3 of the Terms of Use (thirty days' written notice) does not apply to a Free Trial account.

When the 90 days end, your account becomes read-only unless you move to a paid plan. Read-only means you can sign in, view and download your signed documents and their certificates, and finish any signing request that was already sent, but you cannot send new requests. Nothing is charged and nothing renews on its own.

3. Who may use the Free Trial

The Free Trial is offered to law firms, and to marketing agencies and lead generators that work for law firms ("Legal Marketers"), and to people acting on behalf of either. It is not offered to consumers, to people acting in a personal capacity, to self-represented litigants, or to other kinds of businesses.

By creating a Free Trial account you represent that: (a) you are a licensed attorney in good standing in at least one United States jurisdiction, or you are an employee, contractor, or authorized agent of a law firm or Legal Marketer and may act on its behalf; (b) you will use the Free Trial only for that business; (c) everything you give us at sign-up and afterwards, including firm name, business address, and contact details, is accurate, current, and complete; and (d) you are not an employee, contractor, or agent of any person that offers, or is developing, a product or service that competes with Kayse, and you are not using the Free Trial for any such person.

Kayse may ask you to verify any of these representations, including bar admission, firm identity, or a firm-controlled email domain, and may pause the account while it checks.

A representation that is untrue when made, or that becomes untrue, is a material breach. Kayse may close the account at once, without notice, and you will have no claim against Kayse for that closure or for any loss of access to data that results.

4. Email verification and one account per firm

You must confirm the email address you give us before you can send documents. Until then, Kayse may hold back some or all features.

You may not sign up with a disposable, temporary, forwarding, or anonymized email address, or with an address you are not allowed to use.

One Free Trial account is allowed per firm. You may not create extra, duplicate, or affiliated accounts, directly or through others, to get more than the limits in Section 5. Kayse may merge, pause, or close accounts it reasonably believes are duplicates.

You may not create accounts by automated means, and may not resell, transfer, or share access to a Free Trial account. The account holder may add named people from the same firm as users and is responsible for what they do.

5. Usage limits

The Free Trial includes 200 e-signature sends per month, delivered by email. One send is one signature request, however many documents or signers are in it. Test sends and sends that could not be delivered do not count. Unused sends do not carry over to the next month.

Text message delivery, AI voice agents, campaigns, workflows, and the other features of the Kayse AI platform are not part of the Free Trial.

Kayse publishes the current Free Trial limits at kayse.ai/e-signature and may change them at any time by posting the change there. A change to a published limit takes effect on posting and is not subject to the notice period in Section 14.1 of the Terms of Use.

Kayse may meter, slow, queue, or decline activity that goes past a limit. Any attempt to get around a limit, including through extra accounts, automation, or the API, is a material breach.

6. Provided as is; no service level; limited support

The Free Trial is provided "as is" and "as available." Without limiting Section 10 of the Terms of Use, Kayse makes no promise about uptime, availability, performance, response time, data durability, or that any feature will continue, and no service level agreement, uptime commitment, service credit, or similar remedy applies to the Free Trial.

Support for the Free Trial is self-service help pages and email support at support@kayse.ai on a reasonable-efforts basis. Kayse makes no promise about response time and provides no phone support, implementation, configuration, data migration, or training for the Free Trial.

Kayse may change, limit, pause, or end the Free Trial, or any part of it, at any time and for any reason, including by moving Free Trial accounts to a paid plan on notice or by closing them. Kayse has no liability to you for any such change, including loss of access, loss of a document in progress, or anything you spent or relied on.

7. Suspension and closure

Kayse may pause or close a Free Trial account, in whole or in part, at any time, in its sole discretion, for any reason or no reason, with or without notice, and without liability.

Without limiting that right, Kayse may pause or close an account where it reasonably believes the account is not eligible under Section 3, a representation is untrue, a limit is being circumvented, the account is causing complaints or harming email deliverability, continued use creates legal risk for Kayse, or the account is being used to build or inform a competing product.

Kayse may close a Free Trial account that has been inactive for twenty-four (24) months, after giving at least thirty (30) days' notice to the registered email address. An account whose trial has ended and that stays in read-only mode is not inactive for this purpose as long as someone signs in at least once in any twenty-four month period.

8. Your documents; export and deletion

Documents you send and sign through the Free Trial are yours. After your trial ends, and for as long as your account exists, you can sign in and download every signed document and its certificate of completion.

Kayse will give at least thirty (30) days' notice to the registered email address before deleting the data of an account closed for inactivity, and will not delete data from an account closed for breach of Section 3 or for abuse without giving you a way to export it unless the law prevents that.

You are responsible for keeping your own copies of every document you send or sign through the Free Trial, and for every record-keeping, file-retention, and professional-conduct duty that applies to you. Kayse is not your system of record. Do not rely on the Free Trial as the only place a document lives.

You may ask Kayse to delete your data at any time by following the steps in the Privacy Policy.

9. Electronic signature

The Electronic Signature Services provisions of the Terms of Use apply in full to the Free Trial, including the provisions on documents excluded from electronic signature laws, consumer transactions and the ESIGN Act, signer identity and authentication, audit records, limitation of warranty, and indemnification. People you ask to sign see the Kayse E-Sign Terms before they sign.

Kayse makes no representation or warranty that any document signed through the Free Trial is legally valid, binding, enforceable, or admissible, and does not decide whether a document is appropriate for electronic signature.

10. Acceptable use and sending

In addition to Sections 7.3 and 7.4 of the Terms of Use, you may not use the Free Trial to send bulk, marketing, promotional, or unsolicited messages of any kind. Signature requests and the messaging features of the Free Trial may be used only for genuine transactional messages to people who expect to hear from you.

You may not upload or use purchased, rented, scraped, or otherwise acquired contact lists. You represent that you have a lawful basis to contact every person you message through the Free Trial and that you follow every law that applies, including the CAN-SPAM Act.

Kayse may pause sending from any Free Trial account that causes complaints, bounces, or abuse reports at a rate Kayse considers harmful to the deliverability or reputation of its systems, and may do so without notice.

11. Messages from Kayse

By creating a Free Trial account you agree to receive email from Kayse about the Services, including product news, tips, and offers. You may unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any such message. Transactional and service messages, including verification, security, signature, and account notices, are not marketing and continue for as long as you have an account.

Kayse will not send you marketing text messages unless you separately tick the box to receive them. Agreeing to marketing texts is not a condition of creating or using a Free Trial account. You can withdraw that consent at any time by replying STOP.

By pressing the sign-up button you also agree that Kayse and its agents may contact you at the phone number and email you gave, by voice AI call, phone call, or email, about your account and your free trial. You can opt out of any of these channels at any time by telling us.

12. Confidentiality of non-public features

The non-public features, functions, interfaces, workflows, and performance of the Services are Confidential Information under Section 9 of the Terms of Use.

You may not capture, record, screenshot, reproduce, or publish images or recordings of non-public features of the Services, and may not disclose non-public features to any third party, without Kayse's prior written consent.

Section 13.9 of the Terms of Use applies to any breach of this Section and of Sections 6, 7, and 9 of the Terms of Use, and Kayse may seek injunctive relief without posting bond.

13. Limitation of liability

Section 11 of the Terms of Use applies in full to the Free Trial. Without limiting it, and to the maximum extent the law allows, Kayse's total liability arising out of or relating to the Free Trial will not exceed one hundred United States dollars ($100).

You acknowledge that the Free Trial is provided at no charge, that the limits in this Section and in Section 11 of the Terms of Use reflect an allocation of risk agreed in exchange for that, and that Kayse would not offer the Free Trial on any other basis.

14. Changes to these terms

Kayse may change the Free Trial Terms at any time by posting an updated version at kayse.ai/free-trial-terms. Changes take effect as set out in Section 14.1 of the Terms of Use, except that changes to published usage limits take effect as set out in Section 5. Using the Free Trial after a change takes effect means you accept it.
